To ensure accurate posture analysis, please follow these space guidelines.

For movement assessments, we recommend an area at least 1.5 times larger than the minimum requirements.

Space Requirements

  • Maintain at least 50 cm (20") of clearance between the device and the side and back walls.
  • Ensure the camera's field of view is unobstructed—more space improves accuracy.

Floor Surface

  • Place the mat on a flat, level surface.
  • Uneven flooring may reduce measurable height (down to 160 cm / 5'3") and cause errors.

Lighting Considerations

  • The Moti Physio camera uses infrared light, which can be affected by sunlight.
  • Use blackout curtains or select a space with no direct sunlight.
  • Avoid reflective surfaces like mirrors, as they may interfere with the sensor.

Area Preparation

  • Clear obstacles around the mat to prevent measurement errors.
  • Ensure at least 50 cm (20") of separation between the mat and surrounding walls.

For optimal results, follow these guidelines carefully.

Moti Physio's result shows in degrees. As a result of the experiment, when the error test was performed with the mannequin standing up, the maximum error was about 1.5 degrees.

Clothing fits are important for Moti Physio. We recommend wearing tight clothing as much as possible. And you have to test in a space without sunlight to get an accurate result.

There is no human error in Moti Physio because of no intervention of the practitioner. And intra reliability is explained by a Pearson correlation coefficient. Its value is 0.6-0.8 in each parameter. This clinical trial was conducted on 100 people. This result has been published in two SCIE-level journals.
