Camera Setup

Before adjusting the camera

  • Ensure the mat is laid flat.
  • Click the Mat Scan icon () and align the white dashed line between the blue guide lines.
If misaligned, adjust the front tripod leg (with arrow) left or right.

Mat Scan Setting

Path: Setting > Sensor > Mat Scan Setting

  • Drag and adjust the yellow grid (十 marks) to cover the mat area and guide lines.
  • Adjust until the Tilt value stays between -2.5° and 0° for front/back tilt, and between -1° and 1° for left/right tilt  (see the image below).

  • Camera Angle (Tilt) :
    • Ideal range
      • Front/back: -2.5° to 0°
      • Left/right: -1° to 1°
    • If significantly misaligned, please check the installation again. If the issue persists, submit a support request.

  • Mat Scan Option (ON/OFF) :
    • ON: Auto-calibrates the camera angle before measuring.
    • OFF: Skips auto-calibration for faster scanning but may lower accuracy if misaligned. (Auto-calibration runs on the first scan.)

Mat Scan Setting Examples

  • Both examples below are correct—the tilt values range from -2.5° to 0° for front/back, and from -1° to 1° for left/right. Additionally, the guide lines on the mat are fully covered.
  • Proper Mat Scan Settings: Both examples meet the criteria

Camera Calibration (RGB-D Calibration)

1. Calibration Process

  • Path: Setting > Sensor > RGB-D Calibration
  • Follow the instructions and video guide below to complete the camera calibration.

2. Calibration Steps

  • Click the Reset button.
  • Place the person on the mat, make sure they are facing forward and standing still.
  • Click the camera icon to capture the screen.
  • Then adjust the size, horizontality, verticality, and rotation (angle) using sliders or manually entering values.

3. Adjustment Method

  • Step 1: Adjust Body Scale
    • Resize the body outline to match the user's body.
  • Step 2: Align Shoulders
    • Adjust the horizontal/vertical alignment using sliders or manual input to match the shoulder contour with the body image.
  • Step 3: If Head, Hands, or Feet Appear Cut Off? No Issue
    • If any part of the head, hands, or feet appears cut off,
it won't affect calibration as long as the overall body proportions and shoulder alignment are correct.
  • Step 4: Final Check – Posture Analysis
    • Perform a posture analysis scan to verify alignment.

Ensure the blue body outline matches the user's body in the scan result.

If misaligned, return to Step 1, adjust further, and save.

🔍 FAQ: The body points don't align properly.

  • The displayed body points are for reference only. As long as the overall proportions and shoulder alignment are correctly set, discrepancies in body points on calibration screen will not affect the accuracy.
